Abstract
Self-defense not only includes implementation of specific self-defense techniques using objects, but also encompasses environmental and mental conditions, implementation approach, etc. As a martial artist, you may have learnt and practiced many techniques, but still end up with a mental impasse once you engaged in an actual combat. This resembles the situation everybody has experienced in school-time exams where even though textbooks were well studied and practices were thoroughly worked on, as soon as we were given the exam paper, it was like we know nothing and it took a certain deal of time to get back to mental calmness and become focused. Of course, the situation is not the same for all people, so that individuals of higher spirits and self-confidence tend to quickly start answering the questions while there are individuals who used to retrieve the answers once the exam is finished up. Implementation of self-defense techniques is engaged with relatively similar conditions. However, the implementation of self-defense techniques is governed by important remarks which should be kept in mind. Here, respectfully requesting for permission from experienced teachers in the field, I would like to mention some remarks which are results of years of practicing within the scope of martial arts
